I am Gemma Hopkin, founder of Gemma Hopkin Creative, your creative sidekick! I have been waving my creative wand for as long as I can remember, and now I get to do it capturing special moments and helping small brands captivate your audience.
Based in East Yorkshire, I'm a natural light photographer capturing precious family moments and representing small brands. I love to connect with families and small brands, helping to tell your story. My shoots are always very relaxed and natural, you are the centre of the story. Let's have an adventure in the woods, or stomp in the sea. Alternatively, I have a studio where we can create a space for your brand needs to connect with your clients.
After completing my BA Hons Degree in Photography, I worked in film, and fell in love with how narratives can be beautifully told using visuals. Having worked in the Media and Design industries, I had the pleasure of working with some incredible clients, Eon Productions (aka James Bond and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Disney, Discovery Channel, Activision, ESPN and Band of Brothers. I jumped off the fast paced band wagon and went back to my first love of photography and set up my business in 2018.
I moved from London to Yorkshire and am loving Yorkshire life. I have a base in London and East Yorkshire so I am more than happy to shoot in both locations. My husband and three little people keep me busy, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I love a gin and tonic and sunny days spent on the beach.
